In the codes used below the combination TD stands for teardrop. It is
followed by the rounded size of each model in millimeters. The sizes
have been derived from the original trade names used by the Verwoerd
Studio, and actual sizes may differ by one or two tenths of a
millimeter. The silver mounted model TD13x26 is an example of the many
variations produced by Schoonhoven silversmiths. Furthermore, the caption under the pictures has
the number of pieces sold, and the years in which they have been
produced. Although we believe that these figures are a useful
indication of the relative production sizes, they may be subject to
change on the basis of further research results.
